Frontman will play one-off London gig at the HMV Forum in May

Sigur Ros frontman Jonsi has announced details of his debut UK show.

Playing in support of his debut solo album ‘Go’, which will be released on April 5, the Icelandic musician will take to the stage at the London HMV Forum in Kentish Town on May 26.

Meanwhile, Sigur Ros have revealed that they have ‘chucked away’ the work they’ve done on their new album and are taking a break as a group to ‘have babies’.

Tickets for the show go on sale this Friday (February 19) at 9am (GMT).
