Singer plans five-date jaunt next year

Sinead O’Connor has announced plans for a UK tour next March.

The singer, who revealed that she will be releasing her new LP ‘How About I Be Me (And You Be You)?’ on February 20, 2012, will play five dates next spring.

She will start off with a show at Brighton St Georges Church on March 9, before stopping off at London Queen Elizabeth Hall on March 10 and wrapping up the run with a gig at Manchester Cathedral on March 15.

‘How About I Be Me (And You Be You)?’ will be O’Connor’s ninth studio album, with 2012 also marking the 25th anniversary of the release of her debut LP ‘The Lion And The Cobra’.

Earlier this month, the singer tied the knot with Barry Herridge in the back of a pink Cadillac at the Little White Wedding Chapel, Las Vegas, on the same day as her 45th birthday (December 8)
