Slaves have launched their own record label. Check out their first signing

Check out 'Spoons' from Lady Bird

Slaves have launched their own record label ‘Girl Fight’ by unveiling a new track from their first signing, Lady Bird. Check out ‘Spoons’ below.

Girl Fight Records, named after a 15 second track Slaves’ debut mini-album, welcome their inaugural band and release from fellow Tunbridge Wells sons Lady Bird.

A statement from Girl Fight reads: “The label has been launched by Slaves as a way of them being able to support the bands and the music that they love, by-passing the convoluted nature of big record labels and focussing on the nitty gritty.

“Girl Fight aims to be about great bands, big tunes and a DIY ethic inherited from the band’s punk rock roots.”

Lady Bird will be playing a BBC Introducing show at The Lexington in London on February 1.

Slaves meanwhile have been confirmed to support Foo Fighters at Wembley as part of their upcoming ‘Concrete And Gold’ world tour.
