Smashing Pumpkins have announced their final ever two shows will take place in their hometown of CHICAGO in a little over a month.
The band will play the United Centre on November 29 and Cabaret Metro on December 2. The announcement came yesterday (October 17) as they prepared to play Angers, France during the final gasps of their farewell European Tour.
The Cabaret Metro has special significance for Smashing Pumpkins as it is the venue where the line-up featuring Billy Corgan, James Iha, Jimmy Chamberlain, and D’Arcy Wretzky first performed on October 5 1988.
The band continue the final leg of their European tour in Paris tomorrow night (October 19) before arriving in the UK and Ireland for six dates on October 30.
