END OF PUMPKINS’ SINGLE LIFE DRAWS NEAR

Will 'Try, Try, Try' be the soon-to-be-no-more band's last 45 ever?...

THE SMASHING PUMPKINS have announced details of a new, and possibly last single.

The band will release ‘Try Try Try’ on September 11 through Hut. The single is lifted from the band’s most recent album, ‘MACHINA/The Machines of God’, which was released in February this year, and also features a new track, ‘Here’s The Atom Bomb’.

The single precedes the band’s last ever UK tour – they have confirmed they’re to split following the completion of their promotional commitments. The Smashing Pumpkins play: Glasgow SECC (October 30) Manchester Apollo (31) Birmingham NEC (November 1) Wembley Arena (3&4)
