MAN DIES AFTER BEING STABBED AT HIP-HOP FESTIVAL

A 29-year-old man died on Saturday (October 4) after being stabbed and found heavily wounded in a bathroom at a hip-hop festival featuring SNOOP DOGG, Ludacris and Nate Dogg.

Paul Molina Jr was rushed to the San Bernardino Community Hospital – from the Hyundai Pavilion, near Los Angeles – where he was pronounced dead.

The P3 concert, hosted by Power 106 (KPWR-FM), was not stopped following the incident.

Power 106 General Manager Val Maki told MTV News on Monday (October 6), “All of us are very saddened that this incident occurred.”

He added, “We take the safety and security of our fans very seriously. We’ve never had an incident such as this at one of our events. Our hearts go out to the friends and loved ones who are affected.”

Amongst the other acts performing at the festival were Obie Trice, Lil Jon & The Eastside Boyz and 213 – featuring Snoop Dogg, [a][/a] and Warren G.

The sheriff’s department is currently working on leads, though according to spokesperson, no one is in custody.
