Snow Patrol set for charity gig

And it's next month

Snow Patrol are lining up for a special benefit show next month.

The Northern Irish quintet will play an initimate charity gig in aid of Cancerbackup at Nottingham‘s Rock City on July 16.

Tickets, priced at £22.50, are on sale now.

Further support acts will be announced in the coming weeks.

Meanwhile, Snow Patrol have rescheduled a clutch of US dates in Atlanta, New York, Philadelphia, Montreal and Toronto, which they were forced to cancel after lead singer Gary Lightbody failed to recover from laryngitis.

The band will play:

Atlanta Tabernacle (June 22)

Washington DC 9.30 Club (23)

Toronto Kool Haus (25)

Philadelphia Electric Factory (26)

New York Roseland (27)

Boston Bank of America Pavilion (August 15)

Their show in Montreal has been put back to October, with a date to be announced in the coming months.
