Band kick off live campaign for sixth album 'Fallen Empires'
Snow Patrol have announced two shows in Ireland and Northern Ireland ahead of their new album.
The band release their sixth collection ‘Fallen Empires’ on November 14, after the single ‘Called Out In The Dark’. To kick off the touring campaign, they will play Dublin 02 Arena on January 21 and Belfast Odyssey Arena on January 23. Further UK dates will be announced in the near future.
‘Fallen Empires’ is the follow up to 2008’s ‘A Hundred Million Suns’ and was once again produced by Garret ‘Jacknife’ Lee. Tracks set to feature include ‘New York’, ‘The Garden Rules’ and ‘This Isn’t Everything You Are’.
The band say they took influence on the new record from ‘Sound Of Silver’ by LCD Soundsystem and ‘The Suburbs’ by Arcade Fire. The video for ‘Called Out In The Dark’ features Pirates Of The Caribbean and former This Life actor Jack Davenport. You can watch it by clicking at the bottom of the page.
