Snow Patrol’s album goes back to Number One

Snow Patrol’s album ’Eyes Open’ has gone back to the top of the UK album charts tonight (August 27).

The record has now sold over 750,000 copies and is the first album to enter at Number One, drop and then climb back to the summit of the chart this year.

The band are set to headline the Jersey Live festival next weekend (September 2), before heading out on a full UK tour in the winter.

Meanwhile in the UK singles chart, Beyonce is the new Number One with ’déjà vu’, Snow Patrol are at Seven with ’Chasing Cars’ while Arctic Monkeys remain in the top ten with ’Leave Before The Lights Come On’ settling at Number Eight.
