Channel Island festivals announced

The 2007 festival season is already starting to shape up

The festival season for 2007 is already beginning to shape up with the announcement of two channel island events.

After a successful 2006 with the likes of Snow Patrol, Editors and The Zutons, Jerseylive Festival is set to return again next year, and tickets are already on sale for the two-day bash, which is being held over the weekend of September 1-2.

The festival has featured the likes of Razorlight, Kasabian and The Ordinary Boys in the past.

Organisers of the event have also announced a new festival to be held in Guernsey on the weekend of July 14-15.
