FACE OFF?

Rapper Face could get up to six months for driving offences...

So Solid Crew member Face is could serve six months in jail after pleading guilty to driving offences in a London court this morning (April 24).

The rapper, real name Jason Moore, could join currently incarcerated bandmate Asher D behind bars after pleading guilty to driving while disqualified at Camberwell Green Magistrates Court. Sentencing was adjourned for reports. The rapper will learn his fate next month.

Face, 23, was stopped by police on April 18 this year while driving a grey Ford escort down Calais Street, Brixton, near his home.

A licence check during the routine stop revealed he had been disqualified from driving on March 30 last year until September 29 2002 after being caught driving without insurance.

Face told police at the time he thought his ban had expired in January this year.

Dressed in a red baseball shirt, dark trousers and sporting a gold chain

necklace he spoke only to confirm his name and address and enter guilty

pleas during the two minute hearing. He was granted unconditional bail, pending reports.

Asher D was sentenced in March to 18 months in a young offenders centre after pleading guilty to weapons possession. He is expected to serve half the sentence and be released in November.
