LE SPACE OUT?

French no-marks force our Scouse heroes to alter moniker...

SPACE are being forced to change their name next time they tour France because of a namesake French one hit wonders who had a novelty hit in 1977 with proto-techno track ‘Magic Fly’.

The original French Space split in 1983 but last year, someone bought the name of the band and is now threatening to sue the Liverpudlians if they perform there using the same moniker.

Space haven’t decided on a new name yet.
