Spotify has revealed the most streamed artists of 2017 – and it’s good news for the likes of Ed Sheeran, Dua Lipa, and Kendrick Lamar.

Ed Sheeran has been named as the most streamed artist globally, after a bumper year that saw him achieving huge success with the release of third album Divide. He was immediately followed in the global stakes by Drake.

Dua Lipa also achieved massive success in the Spotify streaming stakes too, after becoming the top female artist in the UK – immediately followed by Rihanna, Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift and Beyonce.
