St Vincent performs new track ‘Teenage Talk’ on US TV and announces Wire collaboration

Annie Clark will play with the post-punk band in Chicago during June

St Vincent has performed her new single ‘Teenage Talk’ live on US TV.

The musician, otherwise known as Annie Clark, recorded the song for hit show ‘Girls’, now releasing the full version as a single. Listen below via Spotify and watch Clark’s performance on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ on Monday night (April 6).

‘Teenage Talk’ follows on from recently-unveiled new St Vincent track ‘Bad Believer’, one of five new songs that featured on the deluxe edition of St Vincent’s self-titled 2014 album, released in February.

St Vincent is also set to collaborate with post-punk band Wire at this year’s DRILL festival. Clark will join the group on stage for an extended rendition of their song ‘Drill’. The gig series runs in Chicago from June 11-13, with Tim Hecker, White Lung, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion also set to perform.

St Vincent’s self-titled album was named NME’s 2014 Album Of The Year 2014 and was placed seventh in NME’s Albums Of The Decade So Far.
