Rock veterans STATUS QUO have announced a tour of England’s forests for June.
The three-chord champions will play live in five forests at a series of shows organised by the Forestry Commission. Jools Holland will also embark on the arboreal tour.
Quo frontman Francis Rossi commented: “Status Quo have played all sorts of venues, all over the world, but playing in the middle of five of England’s wonderful forests will be a unique experience – both for us and the fans!”
Last year, Pulp led the way, playing a series of forest shows.
The Status Quo shows will take place at:
Sherwood Forest, Nr Mansfield, Notts (June 13)
Thetford Forest, Suffolk (14)
Bedgebury Pinetum, Kent (15)
Delamere Forest, Cheshire (21)
Dalby Forest, North Yorks (22)
The [a][/a] also appear at Thetford Forest, on July 28.
