Frontman Kelly Jones describes the record as "all over the fucking place"...
STEREOPHONICS have revealed the name of their forthcoming album, due for release in May.
The record, titled ‘You Gotta Go There To Come Back’, is said to see the band taking on a more electronic direction than on 2001’s ‘Just Enough Education To Perform’. It’s out on May 19.
The album, the band’s fourth, was produced by frontman Kelly Jones, assisted by Jim Lowe. Lowehas previously worked with artists such as Feederand [/a].
As previously revealed on NME.COM the first single will be ‘Madame Helga’, due out May 5.
“There’s probably about three songs on there which are similar to the single like a Sly And The Family Stone glam rock kind of thing,” said Jones. “A couple are a bit like [a], with more electronic sounds. So it’s really all over the fucking place,” he told Kerrang!.
