The dates, due to start later this month are pulled due to "illness"...

STEREOPHONICS have cancelled an imminent North American tour because singer KELLY JONES is ill.

The Welsh rockers were due to commence their tour on May 14 in San Francisco, in support of new album ‘Just Enough Education To Perform’, before playing a series of other dates across the US and Canada.

However, the band have pulled the shows, with a posting on the official Stereophonics website www.stereophonics.com blaming an undisclosed “illness” for the cancellations.

There are currently no details on when the shows will be rearranged.

Stereophonics were due to play: San Francisco Fillmore (May 14)

Los Angeles Palace (16)

Vancouver Commodore Ballroom (17)

Calgary MacEwan Hall (18)

Winnipeg Le Rendez-Vous (20)

Chicago Riviera Theater (22)

Toronto Warehouse (23)

Boston Foxboro Stadium (26)

Washington RFK Stadium (27)

Philadelphia Theater Of The Living Arts (29)

New York Roseland Theater (30)

A UK spokesperson for the band was unavailable this morning to confirm whether any of the band’s other future live plans will be affected.
