The musician will visit two UK cities on his forthcoming European tour
Sting has announced two new UK shows.
The former Police frontman has just released his twelfth studio album, ’57th & 9th’.
As part of the newly-announced European tour, Sting will play in Manchester and London in April 2017. He will perform at the Manchester 02 Apollo on April 7, before moving on to the Hammersmith Apollo in London two days later (April 9).
The musician will hit the road with a three-piece band, including his longtime guitarist Dominic Miller, Josh Freese (drums) and Rufus Miller (guitar).

Tickets for the shows go on sale on Friday (November 18).
Sting played the first concert at the re-opened Bataclan venue in Paris on Friday (November 11). The 65-year-old held a minute’s silence for the victims of the terrorist attack at the venue in November 2015, which saw 89 people killed.
