STONE TEMPLE PILOTS frontman SCOTT WEILAND pleaded guilty yesterday (December 20) to domestic battery during a fight with his wife in LAS VEGAS during November.

A Judge in Las Vegas Justice Court approved a plea bargain which will see Weiland’s case dismissed if he has no more problems over the next six months and completes 26 counselling sessions.

The 38-year-old singer, who has a history of drink and drug problems, was arrested on November 19 after the fight with his wife in the hotel room of the Hard Rock Hotel. He spent a mandatory 12 hours banged up in Clark County jail before being released on $3,000 bail.
