Summer Camp announce new album ‘Bad Love’, stream title track – listen

The duo's third LP is set for release on May 25

Summer Camp have announced plans for their new album ‘Bad Love’.

Click below to stream the record’s title track. The duo’s third LP is set for release on May 25 via the Moshi Moshi label, and will be followed by two special shows, at Manchester Eagle Inn on May 29 and London’s Victoria on June 1.

The album has been self-produced, after the pair worked with Pulp’s Steve Mackey on debut ‘Welcome To Condale’ and Stephen Street on its follow-up Summer Camp. “…self-producing means you get the most direct expression of what you’re trying to do. It’s not filtered through anyone else. I feel like this album is the purest expression of what we’re like since the Young EP,” said Jeremy Warmsley of the group. The LP will feature the songs ‘Drive Past My House’ and ‘You’re Gone’.

In between the release of 2013’s ‘Summer Camp’, the duo wrote the soundtrack for Charlie Lynne’s teen movie documentary, Beyond Clueless.
