Taylor Swift reveals huge support acts for ‘Reputation’ world tour

This is going to be massive

Taylor Swift has announced that Charli XCX and Camila Cabello will be supporting her on her upcoming ‘Reputation’ UK and world stadium tour. Full dates and ticket details are below.

After rumours emerged earlier this week, Swift last night took to Twitter to confirm the news.

“This is a Reputation stadium tour update, and I’ve been wanting to tell you this for a really time,” said Swift. “The opening acts on the the Reputation Stadium Tour will be Charli XCX and Camila Cabello.

“I’m really excited, I hope you are too. I can’t wait to see you, I can’t wait to see them – I’m really excited just about the whole thing in general.”

Off the back of winning ‘Best Track’ for ‘Boys’ at the VO5 NME Awards 2018 from her acclaimed 2017 mixtape ‘Pop 2‘, Charli promised to be the ‘bad influence’ at the upcoming shows.

Off the back of the huge runaway success of single ‘Havana‘ and debut solo album ‘Camila‘, the former Fifth Harmony star herself is also  set for a run of UK headline shows this summer.

This week saw US radio station Portland Live 95.5 share a competition to win a trip to London to see Swift and Cabello in convert together at Wembley. The Tweet was soon deleted, but was screen-grabbed by eagle-eyed fans:

Speaking to NME about her increased profile, Cabello told NME: “It feels amazing. But it also feels like it’s not me, if that makes sense? I’m like, ‘Oh yeah, that’s my twin’. It’s almost like Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus. But… I don’t know. I feel like so much stuff is happening to me all the time, and that’s kind of a good thing because I don’t really have time to process it and let stuff sink in. But really it just feels amazing that people are actually listening to my songs.

“I think back to when I was 15 and didn’t even think this [career] was a real thing that could happen. You know, earlier today I performed on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and she told me she’s wanted me to come on and sing for ages. I mean, that’s crazy.”
