Sven Väth was caught red-handed during his set at Netherlands' Awakenings festival

German DJ Sven Vath was pictured appearing to watch one of his home country’s Euro 2016 games while performing a recent festival set.

Last Sunday (June 26), Väth appeared at the Awakenings dance festival in Spaarnwoude, the Netherlands, with his stage time inconveniently clashing with Germany’s last 16 match against Slovakia.

Photographer Mr After Party snapped pictures of Väth’s set, with eagle-eyed fans noticing an iPhone propped up showing the Germany game while Väth performed.

See the photos in the tweet below. Germany eventually won the game 3-0.

Väth has since joked about the incident on Facebook, saying that he will be showing football scores on the screen during his festival gig this weekend, followed by the second half of the match after he finishes.
