The band are gearing up to release their second album

Swim Deep have unveiled the latest track from their upcoming second album.

Following on from ‘To My Brother’, the band have now shared ‘One Great Song And I Could Change The World’.

Although no release date has yet been announced, the band’s second album is expected later this year.

First, listen to ‘One Great Song And I Could Change The World’ below.

Swim Deep’s debut album ‘Where The Heaven Are We’ was released in 2013.

Frontman Austin Williams recently described the band’s new music to NME as “psychedelic sex music”, comparing the record to both Kanye West and Fleetwood Mac.

Williams revealed the big ambitions he and his bandmates have for the album. “We wanted to radicalise chart music,” he said of the band’s mindset going into the studio. “So we’ve taken [Kanye West’s] ‘Yeezus’ and [Fleetwood Mac album] ‘Rumours’ and put them together with acid house.”

The band recently played four intimate gigs in March and April. They are also among the first acts confirmed for Live At Leeds 2015.
