NME’s SXSW party details announced

The bands playing our Texas BBQ are revealed

NME is set to host a party at this year’s South By South West (SXSW) music festival.

The annual event which takes place in Austin, Texas, between March 15 and 19, sees some of the biggest and most influential names in music gathering in the city.

In addition to the scheduled gigs, NME and its sister title Uncut have organised two special barbecues to take place on March 16 and 17 at the Mean-Eye Cat, which will include among others Carl Barat’s new band Dirty Pretty Things, iForward, Russia! and Willy Mason performing.

Former Jane’s Addiction frontman Perry Ferrell will make an appearence, plus a secret special guest is set to feature.
