Neon Neon, Laura Marling, Hearts Revolution at SXSW

Bands prepare to play on the last afternoon of musical action

The likes of Neon Neon, Laura Marling and Hearts Revolution are gearing up to play gigs this afternoon (March 15), on what is the last official day of musical action at SXSW in Austin, Texas.

The NME showcase gig at Wave will see a host of new bands perform from 1:15pm (CMT), with Fleet Foxes set to open the action.

Hearts Revolution, Cage The Elephant, I Was A Cub Scout and the Sian Alice Group will follow them.

Elsewhere, teenage folk sensation Laura Marling plays the French Legation Museum at 1:40pm after Noah And The Whale, with The Ting Tings playing The Bar Bar at 5pm.

Austin‘s Waterloo Park will also play host to an array of talent, with notable picks including Neon Neon, Yeasayer, Simian Mobile Disco and Fucked Up.

Lightspeed Champion will play another SXSW gig after Marling and co. at the French Legation Museum.
