New York band push shows back to August

Taking Back Sunday have been forced to postpone the bulk of their forthcoming May UK tour.

The New York emo-rockers were due to kick off the first of nine shows at Norwich UEA on Monday (May 9), but the band say they have had to reschedule the majority of their UK tour due to an “unavoidable scheduling conflict”.

They are still set to play the London Roundhouse on May 20, and their gig at the Nottingham Rock City has been moved from May 14 to 19. All the other shows will now take place in August.

The new dates are as follows:

London Roundhouse (May 20)
Nottingham Rock City (19)
Glasgow ABC (August 23)
Manchester Academy (24)
Bath Pavilion (29)
Norwich UEA (30)
Birmingham Institute (September 1)
Southampton Guildhall (2)

Taking Back Sunday‘s shows at this year’s Reading And Leeds Festivals over the weekend of August 26-28 remain unaffected. The band will release their new self-titled album on June 25.
