Taking Back Sunday singer’s leg ‘shattered’ by falling tree

Adam Lazzara was trapped underneath the tree during a break from recording in Michigan

Taking Back Sunday singer Adam Lazzara’s leg was crushed and broken by a falling tree over the weekend.

The frontman was at a recording studio with his band in a rural part of Michigan on Saturday (March 3). He went outside for a cigarette when a tree collapsed on him and trapped him underneath it.

According to report by TMZ, the rest of Lazzara’s band heard his calls of distress and went outside to help, but couldn’t lift the tree off him. They called the emergency services and a local fire brigade team arrived and sawed the tree to pieces and released Lazzara.
