Watch Mark Ronson and Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker’s video for ‘Summer Breaking’/’Daffodils’

Both songs appear on Ronson's 2015 album 'Uptown Special'

Mark Ronson has revealed a video for the two tracks he recorded with Tame Impala‘s Kevin Parker.

Summer Breaking and ‘Daffodils’ both appeared on Ronson’s 2015 album ‘Uptown Special’ and have been put together for a new video, directed by Theo Wenner.

The video reflects the different nature of the songs with a lazy afternoon turning into a party at nighttime as ‘Summer Breaking’ transitions into the funkier ‘Daffodils’.

Speaking to Rolling Stone about the video, Ronson said: ‘Summer Breaking’ is probably my personal favorite on ‘Uptown Special’. And seeing as Kevin and Tame Impala are so hot right now, we thought we could really make the most of this “hotness” by making a video for not one but two of his songs from ‘Uptown Special’, ‘Summer Breaking’ and ‘Daffodils.’ Theo Wenner made a beautiful video that really captures (and goes beyond) what we were envisioning when Michael Chabon wrote those haunting lyrics.”

Tame Impala return to the UK for huge gigs in Manchester and London this week. The Australian band announced details of their two biggest UK shows to date last year and tickets for the first London show at Alexandra Palace (February 12) sold out within hours of going on sale.

The band’s Manchester date will take place at Manchester Arena on February 11. Tame Impala play the following live dates:

Manchester Arena (February 11)
London Alexandra Palace (12-13)
