Taylor Swift revealed as secret songwriter behind country music hit

Singer penned Little Big Town's 'Better Man'

Taylor Swift has been revealed as the songwriter behind a recent country music hit.

‘Better Man’ was released by Alabama outfit Little Big Town in October, with the band now confirming Swift to be the writer behind the track.

During a press conference on Tuesday (November 1), the band’s Karen Fairchild said “[Swift] sent us this song and it was one that was very special to her.” They had previously stated that the song was written by “a young girl in Nashville who wrote it by herself”.

Swift has since responded on Twitter, describing herself as “feeling really honoured that a band I’ve loved for so many years decided to record this song I wrote”. See that tweet beneath.
