Speaking about the making of their debut album, frontman Gavin Goodwin explained that the band had taken a lont time to find the right producer for their music. But Norton had proved to be the right choice.

He said: “We like some of the Pixies stuff and I’d heard some of his stuff with Patti Smith. He just got the best out of the band and the best out of the songs rather than leaving his fingerprint on the record.”

Since Terris scooped the front cover of last year’s New Year’s NME, the speculation and hype around the band has been intense, with many divided over whether the group could breakthrough to become one of indie rock’s biggest stars.
