STEREOPHONICS and TEXAS will be the headliners at this year’s T IN THE PARK festival in SCOTLAND, NME.COM can exclusively reveal.
The announcement has just been made at King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow by festival promoter Stuart Clumpas of DF Concerts.
Stereophonics headline the Saturday night (July 8), while Texas headline the Sunday night’s Main Stage.
Stereophonics – who co-headlined the first night of the festival two years ago – will be supported on the Main Stage by Placebo and David Gray. It is likely to be Placebo’s only UK festival appearance of this year.
Texas are joined on the bill by Coldplay, Beck and Toploader.
The Saturday’s line-up also includes Divine Comedy, Amen, Snow Patrol, My Vitriol, King Adora, Webb Brothers, Cosmic Rough Ryders.
The Sunday’s line-up further includes Ash, Grandaddy, JJ72 and Mull Historical Society.
The Slam Dance Tent line-up is: Saturday – Carl Craig, Halo & Hipp-E, Jon Carter, Circulation, Sidewinder/Paul Cawley. Sunday – Slam Live, Luke Slater, Josh Wink, X-Press 2, Doc Martin, Pete Tong, Silicone Soul.
Tickets are £59 for the weekend if booked before May 31 and £64 after that date. Day tickets are £35 and camping costs an additional £11 (available for weekend ticket holders only).
