BANDITS BANDWAGON REACHES NYC!

And the Scousers will be taking a lot of people with them...

The Bandits are taking their seminal BANDWAGON club to NEW YORK this month.

The show, at the Knitting Factory venue, takes place on October 21, and also features fellow scenesters The Hokum Clones, Kinesis, plus a solo set from former Cast frontman John Power. The night will be compered by former Factory Records boss and TV newsreader Tony Wilson.

Bandwagon New York takes place as part of Transatlantic Express – the annual showcase of Liverpool and Manchester’s creative industries in New York – encompassing gigs, fashion shows, film screenings, art exhibitions and seminars.

Other live events as part of Transatlantic Express include a night from Manchester hip-hop label Grand Central featuring Fingathing, Jon Kennedy and Only Child, and appearances from Mr. Scruffand rising punk-blues trio [a][/a].
