Yoko Ono has told Beatles fans not to “hold your breath” waiting for the band’s music to be made available on iTunes.
John Lennon‘s widow revealed that she, along with fellow shareholders in Apples Corps – Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and Olivia Harrison (the widow of George Harrison) – are “holding out”.
“[Apple co-founder] Steve Jobs has his own idea and he’s a brilliant guy,” she told Reuters. “There’s just an element that we’re not very happy about, as people. We are holding out. Don’t hold your breath, for anything.”
Earlier this year, Paul McCartney explained that he thought that The Beatles’ record label EMI were to blame for the delay in the group’s songs not being available on iTunes.
