A range of custom-designed Gibson guitars are to go on view at an exhibition in London this April, before being auctioned for charity.
The Action For Brazil’s Children’s Trust (ABC) – for which Jimmy Page is patron – is hosting the Força Da Rua (Force Of The Street) exhibition at The Print Space in London from April 23 – May 12.
Among the guitars on show is an ‘evil’ Beatles Gibson Les Paul (see right), which depicts a negative version of the band’s legendary ‘Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’ cover.
The guitar sees The Beatles themselves replaced by Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Vladimir Lenin and Mao Tse Tung. Other faces included on the Les Paul are George Bush, Fred West and Osama bin Laden.
Artists including Pure Evil, Ramon Martins and Speto have contributed to the exhibition.
The guitars are due to be auctioned for the ABC at London‘s The Cuckoo Club on April 29.
