A rare reel-to-reel tape of THE BEATLES classic appearance at SHEA STADIUM is being auctioned online.

According to the website [url=]www.beatles-auction.com , the tape, recorded live at Shea Stadium on August 15 1965, is the only original ever to be sold on the open market.

The tape is produced by TV legend Ed Sullivan, and is said to feature pre-concert interviews and footage of all the support acts at the event.

The Beatles live show at the famous New York stadium took place at the height of Beatlemania, and was one of the biggest shows the group ever played.

Beatles‘ folklore clams that because of the size of the crowd, very few in attendance could hear the group play because of the screaming from fanatical fans.
