THE BLUETONES head back on the road in May, on the back of their second album...
THE BLUETONES, currently in the charts with their single ‘Solomon Bites The Worm’, have announced five more British dates in May.
The band, who are about to embark on a sell-out March UK tour, their first live outing for almost two years, will also now be playing Truro Theatre (May 5), Southampton Guildhall (6), Bradford St Georges Hall (8), Manchester Academy (9) and Newcastle Mayfair (10). The Bluetones will also be be appearing at London’s Oxford Street Virgin Megastore on March 16 to sign copies of their new album ‘Return To The Last Chance Saloon’, which hits the shops on March 9.
The full tracklisting of the album is ‘Tone Blooze’, ‘Unpainted Arizona’, ‘Solomon Bites The Worm’, ‘UTA’, ‘4-Day Weekend’, ‘Sleazy Bed Track’, ‘If…’, ‘The Jub Jub Bird’, ‘Sky Will Fall’, ‘Ames’, ‘Down At The Reservoir’, ‘Heard You Were Dead’ and Broken Starr’. A spokeswoman for the band revealed that the band would probably release ‘If…’ as their next single in April, and that they had been stunned by their success of their ‘comeback’ single, which entered the charts at Number Ten.
She continued: “They’ve been down in Rockfield for so long and now they’re on Top Of The Pops and stuff and suddenly in the thick of things which has left them a bit shellshocked. It’s like, welcome back!”
Meanwhile, the band are considering various UK festival offers for this summer, though none have been confirmed as yet.
