Line-up of V2002 announced - and NME is to sponsor the second stage...

NME is to sponsor the second stage of V2002 this year, we can announce – and Chemical Brothers are to headline one of our nights, on a bill that also includes Ian Brown, Elbow and Beta Band.

Stereophonics and Travis have also been confirmed as the joint headliners on the main stage of the event, which takes place August 17&18 at Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Stafford. It’s not yet been specified which act will play on which day, however.

Other acts confirmed to play the event so far include Badly Drawn Boy, Groove Armada, Supergrass, Primal Scream, Starsailor and Stereo MC’s over a total of four stages.

Tickets are £39.50 for a one-day pass, £67.50 for a weekend pass and £80.00 for a weekend pass with camping and go on sale at 9am this Saturday March 23.
