Band reveal booking ahead of Royal Albert Hall show

The Coral are set to play Glastonbury next year.

Keyboard player Nick Power told Yorkshire Radio‘s Darren Harper that they were “confirmed” for the June event, with the presenter breaking the news on his Twitter page, Twitter.com/chubbyewok.

Glastonbury takes place on June 24-26 in Somerset.

Power was speaking ahead of the band’s show at London‘s Royal Albert Hall last night (November 15). They played a mammoth set which saw them perform most of their latest album ‘Butterfly House’, plus older hits.

They also covered The Beatles‘Things We Said Today’ and The ByrdsI’ll Feel A Whole Lot Better’, and were watched by an audience including Primal Scream‘s Mani and Will Young.

The band recently announced that they are set to release an acoustic version of ‘Butterfly House’.
