CORAL SAY OK TO TO GLASTO

The Scouse outfit join the party...

Coral are the latest band to confirm their appearance at this year’s GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL.

The Scouse outfit were widely tipped to be back at the event this year after their much-heralded Other Stage performance at the 2002 bash.

Now the group, whose second LP ‘Matrix Farm’ is set for release on July 21, have confirmed on their official website [url=]thecoral.co.uk they will be playing Glastonbury on Saturday June 28. They have not indicated which stage they will be playing, though it is thought they will step up to the Pyramid Stage.

Interpol join headliners REM, Radiohead and Moby at the event, which runs from June 27-29 at Worthy Farm, Pilton, Somerset.

Although the bill is not yet officially announced, other band who have confirmed their appearance include Feeder, Dave Gahan, [/a], Super Furry Animals, [a], Zwan, Suede and [/a].

[a]Interpol also play this year’s V Festival, which takes place over the weekend of August 16-17 in Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Stafford and T In The Park in Kinross, Scotland on July 13.
