The Courteeners frontman will play eight live shows in September
Liam Fray of The Courteeners will embark on a solo acoustic tour in September.
The frontman of the Manchester band will play eight live shows, including a homecoming gig at The Ritz on September 29. Starting in Liverpool on September 19, Fray will then visit Leeds, Glasgow, Oxford, Portsmouth, London and Sheffield before winding the unplugged tour up in Manchester on September 29.
Earlier this month, The Courteeners played to 16,000 people over two nights at two huge hometown shows at Manchester’s Castlefield Bowl. Support came from Miles Kane, The Strypes and James Skelly & The Intenders amongst others and Liam Fray followed the second night with a sold-out acoustic performance at Manchester Academy 2.
