Both additions to the setlist were first played at the band’s gig at Wigan Haigh Hall on Thursday (June 30).

Elsewhere, the setlist largely comprised tracks from their 2008 debut ‘St Jude’ and 2010 follow-up ‘Falcon’, including ‘Acrylic’, ‘You Overdid It Doll’ and ‘Take Over The World’.

“This gig sold out in 15 seconds or something didn’t it,” Fray asked the crowd at one point. “I thought the MEN Arena [gig in 2010] couldn’t be beaten but this is up there with the best.”

The band then wrapped things up with a three song encore of ‘Aftershow/Kimberley’, ‘Not Nineteen Forever’ and ‘What Took You So Long?.
