Show will take place at site of their last gig as a three-piece

The Cribs have announced details of what will be their first show since the departure of Johnny Marr.

The band confirmed the departure of Marr earlier this week, saying that sessions for a new album “just weren’t working.”

Now they will play their first show having reverted to the original line-up at Coventry Kasbah on May 20. Symbolically, it was the site of the band’s last gig as a three-piece before Marr joined.

The Cribs are also confirmed for a number of UK festivals this summer.

Announcing the show on Twitter.com/RyanJamesJarman, the guitarist said: “Come and say hi it’s been too long: And bring me a present. This will be our only warm-up show by the way.”
