We’ll have to wait until next year
The release of the The Cure’s 14th album has been postponed for a second time.
Originally due to be released in May, the release date got pushed back to October but it has now transpired it will not come out until April or May of 2008.
According to Reuters, Robert Smith is still recording material, and previously said he would like to release two versions of the album – a limited edition double-record which he would self-mix and a second CD mixed by another producer.
As of late last year, the band had recorded 33 songs but Smith was reportedly finding it hard to create lyrics for all the material
The Cure will tour North America in September and October.
