The Darkness debut studio cover of Radiohead’s ‘Street Spirit (Fade Out)’

The glam-rockers' take on the classic track from 'The Bends' is now streaming online

The Darkness have premiered their studio cover of Radiohead’s ‘Street Spirit (Fade Out)’ online.

‘Street Spirit (Fade Out)’ first appeared on Radiohead’s classic 1995 album ‘The Bends’. It was released as single in January 1996 and became the band’s first Top Five hit.

The Darkness have been performing the song live for several years, but have only now recorded a studio version, which is set to appear on their comeback album ‘Hot Cakes’. Earlier today (July 24), the track began streaming on Pitchfork.
