The Datsuns have announced details of a new single that will accompany their headline appearance on the NME AWARDS TOUR 2003.

As previously reported, the UK tour will also feature Polyphonic Spree, Interpol and The Thrills.

The 13-date event, which traditionally showcases hot new talent and tours annually during January and February, precedes the prestigious NME Carling Awards, to be held next year in London on February 13.

Now, The Datsuns have announced that ‘Harmonic Generator’ will be released on February 3 via V2. It will be released on two CDs and 7″ single and features backing vocals from Carrie and Marcie from The Von Bondies. Additional tracks are currently unconfirmed.
