Liverpool band split but insist there is no 'big falling out'
The Dead 60s have split up, they have announced via their website.
The Liverpool band decided to “call it a day” over the Christmas period, and have now made their decision public.
Writing to their fans, the group explained: “Some of you may have heard the news by now, The Dead 60s are no more. We decided to call it a day just after Christmas.
“There’s no big story, no falling out between us. We just felt like the band had run its course, time for us all to branch out and try other things.”
The band recorded two albums, although only their self-titled 2005 debut has been released.
Second LP ‘Time To Take Sides’ was due to come out this year, but its fate is yet to be decided.
