The Decemberists have shared a new song, ‘The Wrong Year’.

Click above to listen to the track, which features on the band’s new album ‘What A Terrible World, What A Beautiful World’, which is due to be released on January 19, 2015. It is the third song to be released from the LP, following ‘Lake Song’ and ‘Make You Better’.

The Decemberists will play seven shows in the UK next February as part of a wider European tour.

Colin Meloy of the band announced the album by busking in front of a painted mural of the cover in the Brooklyn neighbourhood of Williamsburg in October.
