New clip shows band goofing around in New York

The Drums have unveiled the official video for their new single ‘Money’, which can be viewed above.

The promo features filmed band rehearsals intercut with various sections of footage featuring the band walking around what appears to be the streets of their home Brooklyn, including shots of frontman Jonathan Pierce spying on two women having a conversation in a garden.

‘Money’ is the first single from the band’s second album ‘Portamento’, which is released on September 12.

‘Money’ will be released on September 5 and is currently streaming online. The New York band are now made up of singer Jonathan Pierce, keyboardist Jacob Graham and guitarist Connor Hanwick plus two live members.

The band have also confirmed three small London shows to support the new album. They will play in the capital’s Hoxton Bar & Kitchen on September 5, at the Lexington on September 6 and finally at XOYO on September 7. They are also booked to perform at Bestival on the Isle Of Wight, which runs 8-11 September.
