The video, which sees the band performing in an aquarium amongst other locations, was directed by the BRTHR team, who commented: “The Drums are a band we truly identify with and respect and so when this opportunity came to direct a video for them we gave it our all. We feel that this is just the beginning of some truly genuine, great collaborations.”

Jonny Pierce of the band went on to say: “Anyone who has ever worked with us knows that Jacob and I are control freaks when it comes to our visuals and so we were pleasantly surprised to find the trustworthy duo BRTHR. It was the first time we completely let go and let someone else take the reins on a music video. They have exquisite taste and brought the magic of nature to the forefront – an important pillar of the song.”

The band will play live throughout November, arriving in the UK for a gig at the Scala in London on November 18. The following day they will play Gorilla in Manchester before moving on to Glasgow and the Art School on November 20.

Speaking about the new LP, Pierce has said: “‘Encyclopedia’ is full of magic and surprise while maintaining a serious, more weighty tone throughout. We were feeling very angry, confused, and alone when we made this album; and we wanted to be very honest this time around, even if being honest meant making some people uncomfortable. We’ve left the beach for higher ground, always searching for hope.”

The Drums will play:

London Scala (November 18)
Manchester Gorilla (19)
Glasgow Art School (20)
