Brighton noise band announce their return and three live shows in October.
The Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster have reformed, announcing three live dates.
The original line-up of the Brighton group confirmed they will play their first dates since splitting in 2011 this October. The group have seen a surge in popularity since the song ‘Chicken’, from their 2002 debut ‘Horse Of The Dog’ was used in a Nike’s ‘My Time Is Now’ advertising campaign.
The reunion marks the return of guitarists Marc Norris, who left the band in 2010 and Andy Huxley, who left in 2005. The band released three albums in their career, ‘Horse Of The Dog’, ‘The Royal Society’ in 2004 and ‘Blood And Fire’ in 2010.
Announcing their split last year, the band posted on Facebook: “We are sorry to announce that the band have broken up. We all thank you for the years of love and support you have all shown. We are all now working on different projects.”
The 80s Matchbox B-Line Disaster will play:
Manchester, Club Academy (October 29)
Brighton, Concorde 2 (30)
London, Electric Ballroom (31)
